Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

K-Trips (k-trips.blog) is an independent travel blog written and run by Sung Hwan Cho. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, which third-party services are involved, and the choices you have.

1. Information Collected Automatically

You do not need an account or any personal details to read K-Trips. Like most websites, the site receives technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages you view. The web host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs of this data for security and operation of the site.

2. Analytics

I use two analytics tools to understand which guides are read and where the site needs work:

These tools are used only for statistics about how the site is used. I do not use them to identify individual readers, and I do not sell visitor data.

3. Advertising and Third-Party Cookies

K-Trips displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices.

4. Cookies and Consent

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through the cookie banner before personalized advertising is served. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie settings on this site. The cookies used by the services above are described in sections 2 and 3, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. Comments and Email

If you leave a comment, the name, email address, and comment text you provide are stored so the comment can be displayed and moderated. Your email address is never published. An anonymized string created from your email may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture. If you email me, your message and address are used only to reply.

6. Embedded Content and External Links

Articles may include embedded content such as maps or videos. Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you had visited that website directly, and those sites may collect data about you. The guides also link to official tourism, transport and venue websites; their privacy practices are their own.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data you have provided (for example a comment or an email), to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, write to 4ddesigner@naver.com.

8. Children’s Privacy

K-Trips is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please get in touch and it will be removed.

9. Changes to This Policy

When this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a revised date at the top.

10. Contact
